Moving You and Your Cat

Sal F.
07 Jul, 2006
When we moved into a new house, the very last thing that moved was our cat. He likes to sneak outdoor whenever he sees an open door, so we locked him in an empty room, except for food, litter box, a view of birds from the window and a few of our personal things that had some familiar scents.

It had been a long day getting all the boxes into the truck, heading across town, getting things unpacked. That evening, we drove to our old house and picked up Dexter. When we got to our new house, we showed him where his food and litter box were and went to bed. He was up all night exploring. The next day, when our batteries were re-charged he was wore out and fast asleep on our new bed. A bonus he was not underfoot while we tried to settle in the next day.
